Do you help create wedding timelines?
Absolutely! One of my favorite parts of the wedding planning process is helping couples create a timeline that allows them to fully enjoy their day while ensuring we have plenty of time for all of the moments that matter most. I work closely with my couples to build a photography-friendly timeline that keeps the day flowing naturally and includes time for portraits, family photos, and those beautiful sunset images Marchand Ranch is known for.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding is unique, so the number of images delivered varies depending on the length of coverage and the events of the day. My goal is never to limit your memories. I carefully curate and edit all of the best images from your wedding day, delivering a gallery that tells the complete story of your celebration.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes! Engagement sessions are included with many of my wedding collections and are one of the best ways for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. They also help couples feel more comfortable in front of the camera, making wedding day portraits feel easy and natural.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
Colorado weather can be unpredictable, but there's no need to panic. Marchand Ranch offers beautiful indoor and outdoor options, and I always help my couples create backup plans when needed. Some of my favorite wedding photographs have actually been taken during unexpected weather, and together we'll make sure your day remains beautiful no matter what Mother Nature decides to do.
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photographer anywhere from 8 to 18 months before their wedding date. Popular dates, especially Saturdays during peak wedding season, tend to book quickly. If you've already secured your venue, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible to ensure your date is available.
Do you travel outside of Canon City?
Absolutely! While I love photographing weddings at Marchand Ranch, I photograph weddings, micro weddings, and elopements throughout Colorado. From Colorado Springs and Denver to Breckenridge, Estes Park, Crested Butte, and beyond, I love helping couples celebrate wherever their story takes them.
Do you help with posing?
Yes! Most of my couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera before we meet, and that's completely normal. I provide gentle guidance throughout the day while also allowing space for natural moments to unfold. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and focused on each other so your photographs feel genuine and true to your relationship.
